"A Chorus Line"

It's 2024 in South Bend, Indiana, on the Patricia George Decio Mainstage, and 17 dancers are being put through the final phase of a torturous audition for FTT's next production. Only eight can make it.

A Chorus Line examines one day in the lives of 17 dancers, all vying for a spot in the "chorus line" of a Broadway musical. Born from real-life testimonies, audiences are allowed a glimpse into the lives of professional dancers as they bare their hopes, dreams, and ambitions on stage.

A Chorus Line was conceived and originally directed and choreographed by Micheal Bennett, with a book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban, and co-choreographed by Bob Avian.
