David Cortright, professor emeritus of the practice at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, and Anna Romandash, an award-winning journalist from Ukraine and a master of global affairs graduate (’22) from the Keough School of Global Affairs, will share the results of their study on the effectiveness of sanctions on Russia (click to read policy brief). Sanctions are one of the principal means Western states have enacted to constrain the war. This virtual flash panel will offer an analysis of this strategy.

Cortright and Romandash will join fellow panelists to offer their perspectives on this important topic.
