Rose Meissner, president of the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County, will speak at the Center for Social Concerns’ Signs of the Times series. Her talk is titled, “The Power of Near Peer Mentoring: Helping First-Gen Students Achieve College Degrees.”
Signs of the Times is a monthly series that connects campus to community experts around justice topics. The theme for the 2023–24 academic year is “Poverty and Power.”
