Book Cover

How have politically conservative Christian foreign policy lobbying groups helped shape America’s role in the modern world?

Lauren F. Turek, associate professor of history at Trinity University, explores the complex ways in which these evengelical groups have influenced American foreign policy since the 1970s. She examines the effectiveness of Christian efforts to attain foreign aid for favored regimes, and considers how those same groups promoted the imposition of economic and diplomatic sanctions on those nations that stifled evangelism.

A light dinner will be served for those attending in person.
