In Africa, song and dance is considered food for the soul. Almost every occasion calls for song and dance. In the traditional African society, people would sing and dance during their leisure time, when farming in the fields, during the birth of a child, weddings or even death.
In this language table hosted by Jossy Mutisya, the CSLC’s Swahili FLTA, we are going to learn more, including some traditional songs and dance moves through a video we will watch.
