-

Location: Zoom

Station Eleven 600x400

Join the Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study for a Zoom book discussion of Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel.

NDIAS faculty, students, and staff have been reading the book together to gain new perspective on our current circumstances. If you’d like to read the book as well, or have read it already, and are interested in participating in the conversation, RSVP to Kristian Olsen (kolsen1@nd.edu) to receive further information and confirm space availability. The discussion is open to all members of the Notre Dame community.

Station Eleven tells the story of a band of musicians and actors who survive a pandemic and travel around the Lake Michigan area, visiting remaining communities and keeping art, literature, and culture alive in the face of an unfathomable catastrophe. It was a finalist for the 2015 National Book Award.
