John N. Low is an associate professor in the Department of Comparative Studies and affiliated faculty in the Program in American Indian Studies at the Ohio State University – Newark. His first book, Imprints: the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians and the City of Chicago, was published in 2016.
Artist Christine Rapp-Morseau hails from a long line of Pokagon black ash basket weavers. A 2018 black ash basket by Rapp-Morseau is on view in Revisions: Contemporary Native Art and was recently acquired by the museum.
