In recognition of the lives of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Robert F Kennedy, Sr. we will screen the PBS documentary A Ripple of Hope which chronicles the events leading up to Robert Kennedy's legendary speech given in Indianapolis the night that Martin Luther King was assassinated.

Professor Richard Pierce of the Notre Dame Africana studies and history departments will lead us in a discussion following the film as we explore the intersections of the lives of these two great men.  Additionally, representatives of the Indianapolis based Kennedy King Memorial Initiative will be present to share with us.

This Global Experience event is part of our regional celebration of "1968:  A Movement in Time." It is open to the entire community.  Contact Vicky Hernandez: hernandez.89@nd.edu, 574-631-3249 for additional information.
