Austin Choi Fitzpatrick

Austin Choi-Fitzpatrick, assistant professor of peace studies at the University of San Diego’s Kroc School of Peace Studies, will discuss his new book in which he explores the ways contemporary slaveholders talk about exploitation and emancipation. This rare access to a stigmatized population will provide insights into how people feel when they get stuck on the wrong side of history.
