An all-American tennis star (Peter Friedrich) hounded by rumors that he's living an alternative lifestyle. A talentless trust fund brat (Amy Davis) on a demonic quest for celebrity. A manchild (Victor of Aquitaine) whose best friend is an imaginary six-foot Saint Bernard named Mr. Peepers. What do they all have in common? They're the starry-eyed subjects of filmmaker Jon Moritsugu's critically acclaimed fifth feature Fame Whore. Hitting at the wake of the internet and told through three interwoven vignettes all taking place on the same day, this mid-90s classic is a cutting satire of our culture's lust for that elusive state when everybody knows your name.
