So much art, so little time!
Join the Raclin Murphy Museum of Art for this special edition of our 15-minute lunchtime program, where a member of our education staff will facilitate a brief, interactive conversation on a James Barry print featuring the notable Shakespearian characters, King Lear and Cordelia. Now on display in the galleries for a limited time, the museum selected the print in connection with the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival's Professional Company’s production of King Lear, running through August 31, 2025. More about the show and information about how to purchase tickets can be found on the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center website. Take a brief moment during your lunch break to engage with others in a relaxed discussion to explore new perspectives on this piece through a close look. After our brief conversation, participants can explore other works in the museum or enjoy a 10% discount at Ivan’s Cafe.
Participants in this program will also receive a promo code for 25% off tickets to all performances of King Lear, excluding the Opening Night Gala, when purchasing through performingarts.nd.edu.
