Michael Emmerich

Alumnus Michael Emmerich, winner of the AGO-Quimby Competition, has appeared as a recitalist in England and throughout the United States. His playing and compositions can be heard on American Public Media’s Pipedreams
and Pipedreams Live! Recently appointed associate director of music for the Archdiocese of Omaha, Emmerich holds a unique position in the U.S., traveling throughout rural regions of the Archdiocese to engage the faithful in musical and liturgical formation. He also served as associate organist at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Houston. Co-curated by Craig Cramer, professor of organ.

This guest organist recital takes place at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart following Vespers.
