October is breast cancer awareness month. For 18 years the College of Arts and Letters has raised funds to provide mammograms for residents of St. Joseph County. For the fifth year in a row, the Department of Theology will be hosting an event to raise money to contribute to the cause.
This year the staff of the Theology and Philosophy departments will hold a “Monster Mash Lunch” on Friday, October 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in 135 Malloy Hall.
All proceeds will be donated to United Health Services. United Health Service is the facilitator of the funds we raise for those in St. Joseph County in need of mammogram screenings and/or diagnostic mammogram.
The Leprechaun will be on site from noon until 1 p.m. for photos! Families welcome.
