The annual Notre Dame Children’s Choir Lessons and Carols Concert will feature six children’s choirs, more than 100 children from the area ages 5 to 18, performing sacred works with scripture readings, prayers and congregational hymns in the beautiful Church of Our Lady of Loretto at Saint Mary’s College. All are welcome to this free concert, which is handicap accessible.

This year our choirs traveled to Virginia and Washington, D.C., and performed eight concerts and liturgies, including the National Cathedral and the Basilica of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. We will also perform at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center the Brahms Requiem in February 2024 with the Irish Singers and orchestra.
The ecumenical Sacred Music Academy, led by Artistic Director Dr. Mark Doerries, provides FREE choral education and performance opportunities for children in the South Bend area regardless of socioeconomic background. We are currently accepting new singers for our choirs in the Spring Semester.
