J. A. Jayant, musician, teacher and composer, is one of today’s finest, most popular and widely respected Carnatic (South Indian) flautists. Grandson and student of T. S. Sankaran, he was a child prodigy who started performing at the age of 7. He has performed in over 1600 solo and jugalbandi (duet) concerts in USA, UK, Switzerland, Australia, the Gulf region, and India, among others, and collaborated with musicians such as Ronu Majumdar, Rajesh Vaidya, U. Rajesh and Ashwani Shankar. He has several CDs and DVDs to his credit. For more information, see flutejajayant.com/.

Ashwani Shankar, born into an illustrated line of musicians of the renowned Banaras Gharana, was trained by his father, the internationally acclaimed shehnai maestro Pandit Daya Shankar, and his grandfather, the legendary shehnai virtuoso, Pandit Anant Lal. His music represents an unparalleled blend of traditional and modern classical approaches, incorporating vocal and sitar styles. He has received several awards, including the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi’s Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar in the Hindustani instrumental music category, and the Aditya Vikram Birla Kalakiran Award, and performed in Japan, Bangladesh, the US, the UK, France, Spain and other European countries and, of course, India.

Ramdas Palsule received his training from the renowned tabla maestro, Taalyogi Pandit Suresh Talwalkar, and with his natural ingenuity, relentless toil and insatiable thirst for knowledge, made quick strides as an acclaimed soloist and a versatile accompanist. He has accompanied luminaries in vocal and instrumental music and dance, such as Pt. Jasraj, Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki, Vid. Prabha Atre, Vid. Balamurali Krishna, Pt. Shivkumar Sharma, Pt. Hariparad Chaurasia and Pt. Birju Maharaj. He has performed as a soloist and accompanist at various prestigious music conferences and concerts in India, and abroad in USA, Canada, UK, Australia and in many countries in continental Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia and the Gulf region.

Sai Giridhar received his training under the guidance of M. L. N. Raju and Parupalli S. Phalgun. He is an A grade artist for All India Radio.
