Our last Winter Olympic film is about a classic odd couple who need to band together for sports glory. Kate Moseley (Moira Kelly) is a 1%-er whose talent for pairs ice skating is eclipsed by her notoriously mercurial attitude on the ice. Doug Dorsey (D.B. Sweeney) is a blue collar former professional ice hockey player who needs to lay down his stick after an injury but keeps his skates on as he transitions to the world of competitive ice skating. Learning to work with a toe pick is just one struggle encountered as the two clash on almost every level in the lead up to their debut at the U.S. Nationals with a trip to the Olympics on the line. Along the way, a classic enemies-to-lovers narrative blossoms to the beat of The Race by Swiss superstars Yello.
