Mass in the Mary, Queen of Families Chapel

-

Location: Raclin Murphy Museum of Art (View on map )

A priest in red vestments leads a small congregation in prayer. He stands at an altar beneath a framed painting of the Holy Family and before a vibrant blue stained-glass window featuring white symbolic imagery.

In honor of the feast day of the Passion of St. John the Baptist, pray with us in the Mary, Queen of Families Chapel.  Led by Rev. Martin Lam Nguyen, C.S.C., professor of studio art at Notre Dame, this opportunity to worship amidst site-specific installations provides a space to reflect on the connection between liturgy and the arts. Following the Mass, we will offer a five-minute guided exploration of a work of art on view featuring John the Baptist.

Seating will be on a first come, first served basis.
