The role of feedback is critical to advancing language proficiency. In this EdTalk, Lauren Rosen, director of the Collaborative Language Program at the University of Wisconsin, will share techniques to save time through flipping lessons that gather immediate feedback and inform instruction.

About Lauren

Lauren Rosen is the director of the University of Wisconsin System Collaborative Language Program. For over thirty years she has been growing a now nationally recognized program for sharing language courses across university campuses including LCTL instruction. In addition, she works closely with language educators in developing engaging collaborative approaches to technology integration into a variety of language learning contexts including blended and online courses. She has published numerous articles on the integration of Internet technology for learning world languages and is a regular presenter at state, regional, national, and international conferences. As an often-requested speaker, her current research focuses on the affordances of asynchronous and synchronous learning environments to build community and the impact of emerging technologies on developing language proficiency in blended and online language courses.
