Presentation: "The Beauty of Tanzania: Natural Travel Destinations"

-

Location: Bond Hall, 334 (View on map )

Tanzania is famous the world over for its breathtaking savannahs, towering mountains, bustling cities, and sun-soaked islands. The imaginaries of Africa have swept the globe with world-renowned iconic landscapes and landmarks, such as Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar. In many ways, the landscape of Tanzania such as the wide plains of the Serengeti has become popular representations for all of Africa.

Some even claim that the Garden of Eden lies in Western Africa (Tierney, 1992).

In this cultural conversation, FLTA Clement Kigelulye will share his insights of growing up in this richly diverse landscape and how that landscape has impacted the culture of Tanzania.

All are welcome!
