Research Uncorked For Calendar 600x400

Research Uncorked is a monthly speaker series featuring informal interviews with leading scholars and scientists from the University. Originally hosted at Ironhand Winebar in South Bend, the series is currently taking place online because of the coronavirus.

In April, we’re excited to welcome Assistant Registrar Chris Temple, who has just completed a Ph.D. in history at Notre Dame—and about Notre Dame. His doctoral dissertation starts with the University’s founding by a Catholic priest in 1842 and examines what happened over the next 125 years to develop Notre Dame’s capacity to foster top-flight research, providing a new perspective on the relationship between religious faith and science.
