Please join the Notre Dame community at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart to celebrate Mass in memory of Majd "Jude" Alshoufi. Jude was pursuing a doctorate in peace studies and psychology through the Department of Psychology in the College of Arts and Letters and the Kroc Institute in the Keough School of Global Affairs.

University President Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., will preside, and Vice President and Associate Provost, Rev. Dan Groody, C.S.C., will preach. This Mass will be live streamed on the Campus Ministry website. Our deepest condolences and prayers are with Jude’s family and friends during this difficult time.

The University Counseling Center (574-631-7336) and Campus Ministry (574-631-7800) are available to offer their care and support to members of our community. The Office of Human Resources offers support to faculty and staff through the University's chaplainsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP), and the Notre Dame Wellness Center’s Emotional Well-Being team.
