Paraguayan Attorney General Sandra Quiñonez and Notre Dame Law School alumnus Brian Skaret '02 J.D. of the U.S. Department of Justice will discuss the links between drug traffickers in Latin America and international terrorism.

Quiñonez is the first woman to serve as Paraguay’s attorney general. She has fought drug traffickers and organized crime, specifically targeting money laundering that is used for the financing of terrorism.

Skaret, a 2002 Notre Dame Law School alumnus, is based at the U.S. Embassy in Asunción. He will discuss public corruption in Paraguay and how drug trafficking and money laundering finance international terrorism.
