The Big Draw: Snite Sketchbook Session

- (part of a series)

Location: Online (Zoom) (View on map )

Join us for an evening of sketching, community, and inspiration. All ages and experience levels are welcome. Come prepared with a sketch of your own in response to this prompt: Make a sketch of a person and their surroundings.

During this program, we will share our sketches and talk about the choices we made and the techniques we used to create them. A guest artist will then give an illustrated talk about their work and provide us with a sketching challenge to work on during the program. Sketch sharing, conversation, and feedback will follow.

We are excited to have South Bend-based artist and social scientist Angelica Frausto—also known as Nerdy Brown Kid—join us as the guest artist for the evening. Frausto creates vibrant and powerful images that heal, raise awareness, and connect with her Xicana roots.
