About the film:

I Am Not Your Negro is a 2016 documentary directed by Raoul Peck and based on James Baldwin's unfinished manuscript, Remember This House. The film connects the Civil Rights movement and assassinations of Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King Jr. to the modern #BlackLivesMatter movement. By telling the story of race across American history, the film ultimately challenges the definition of what America stands for.
