Join the Snite Museum of Art in celebrating one of its recent acquisitions: a photograph recommended for the collection by Notre Dame students. The students of PhotoFutures 2019 — Sarah Harper ’20, Abigail Patrick ’22, Claire Stein ’22, Cameron Sumner ’21, and Stanley Ying — spent the fall semester considering potential photographic acquisitions that relate to the theme of “American education” before deciding on the photograph that will be unveiled at this event. At 5 p.m., students will make brief remarks sharing the ways they thought this photograph supports the theme, adds value to the Snite Museum’s permanent collection, and supports the mission of the University.
This program is open to all. Light refreshments will be served.
