Read/Download, the Digital Humanities Reading Group, will be discussing Brandon Locke’s article, “Digital Humanities Pedagogy as Essential Liberal Education.” Locke is guest faculty at the University of Washington iSchool, and was formerly the director of LEADR (Lab for the Education and Advancement in Digital Research) at Michigan State. Locke will be visiting campus on Feb. 19-20 for a talk and roundtable discussion (more information here), so this is an excellent opportunity to preview his work. Registrations encouraged but not required. Coffee and cookies provided.
