The Notre Dame Initiative for Global Development (NDIGD) invites you to join us as we debut our new Strategic Plan: 2019-2024. Throughout 2018, our team has worked with dozens of internal and external stakeholders to create this clearer, shared vision for NDIGD, which will guide our collective efforts to address global poverty and inequality over the next five years and beyond.
NDIGD’s Director, Ray Offenheiser, will kickoff this event by presenting a broad overview of our new Strategic Plan in the auditorium of the Hesburgh Center for International Studies. A panel of special guests will then discuss our plan’s potential impact on a variety of organizations and actors, as well as the broader field of global development. We are privileged to welcome the following guests:
Scott Appleby, Dean of the Keough School, University of Notre Dame
- Robert J. Bernhard, Vice President for Research, University of Notre Dame
- Annemarie Reilly, Chief of Staff and Executive Vice President for Strategy and Organizational Development, Catholic Relief Services
- Jenna Ahn, a student in the Keough School’s Master of Global Affairs program, University of Notre Dame
Additionally, there will be some time for members of the audience to ask their own questions and give their own feedback about our new Strategic Plan. We hope you will join us for a cocktail reception following the main presentation and network with our leadership, faculty, and staff, as well.
This event is free and open to the public. Undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, faculty, postdoctoral researchers, staff, and executive leadership are especially encouraged to join us and learn, or inquire, about new opportunities for collaboration. Public parking will be available at the Hammes Bookstore Lot.
