The lecture will be delivered by Daniel J. Mahoney, Augustine Chair in Distinguished Scholarship at Assumption College. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Daniel J. Mahoney has written books on Raymond Aron, Charles de Gaulle, Bertrand de Jouvenel, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn and on conservatism and liberalism. He is co-editor of “The Solzhenitsyn Reader: New and Essential Writings, 1947-2005”. His latest book, “The Idol of Our Age: How the Religion of Humanity Subverts Christianity”, will be out from Encounter Books December 2018. His writings have been translated into thirteen languages including French, Spanish, Romanian, Portuguese, Italian, Hungarian, Czech, Polish, and Russian.
