How to Look @ Contemporary Art Workshop
September 18, 25, and October 2 / 5:30-7:00 pm
Free but registration is required*
Are you frustrated by contemporary art? Confused about how to look at or think about it? Are you not even sure it’s actually art? If these are some of the questions you have about contemporary art, then this class is for you. We will spend three sessions together in the galleries exploring different ways to look at, think about, and understand contemporary art. You might not leave loving contemporary art, but you will leave with strategies that will help you in future encounters with contemporary works of art.
*Attendance for all three sessions is required, as sessions build on each other. Only one ticket is needed for all three sessions.
Free shuttle (4:45-7:45 p.m.) from the lot on Bulla Road (on the east edge of campus, just off Twyckenham Drive) to the Museum or park in the B1 or C1 lots south of Stadium and walk to Museum.
