Leonard Wantchekon

Leonard Wantchekon is professor of politics at Princeton University, where he is associated faculty in the Economics Department. His research is broadly focused on political and economic development, particularly in Africa, with democratization, clientelism and redistributive politics, the resource curse, and the long-term social impact of historical events among his specific interests.
