The McGrath Institute for Church Life and the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center present Outcasts, the latest 60-minute documentary from Grassroots Films (The Human Experience, Child 31). Outcasts follows the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal through Honduran prisons, England’s drug scene, Ireland’s Stab City, and a New York death bed as they serve the world’s outcasts.
All are welcome to attend mass at 10 a.m. at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Join us immediately following for a reception at 11:15 a.m. at the DeBartolo Performing Arts center prior to the noon screening. After the screening, there will be a discussion with Joseph Campo, co-founder and producer of Grassroots Films and Fr. Leo Fisher, a Franciscan Friar of the Renewal.
